The Valor Horizon series of direct vent gas fireplaces have been built with both efficiency and design in mind. Horizon fireplaces are zone heaters, which means they only heat the areas of your room that you want to heat, and only when you require the heat. Horizon fireplaces are also radiant heaters; radiant heaters only heat the objects in a room as opposed to the air surrounding the objects, which further adds to the efficiency of your Horizon. Valor was also the company that developed the world's first direct vent gas fireplace, which allows for venting up and out of your home and thus protects the indoor air quality of your room.
