The Frontenac wood fireplace from Valcourt is environmentally friendly and qualifies for Phase II of the US EPA's voluntary decorative wood fireplace program. Phase II qualification indicates that particulate emissions are no greater than 4.2 g/kg of wood burned, which is approximately 70% cleaner than most non-qualifying wood fireplaces.

Your Frontenac wood fireplace features a guillotine door to make firewood loading easy and convenient. The fire screen itself also features a guillotine mechanism, allowing you to close the screen while the door is open.
