Vigilant
The Vigilant coal stove from Vermont Castings features a convenient top loading design that will allow you to add anthracite coal to your stove area whenever you need to in a cleaner manner than a front-loading design allows. The top loading design and automatic thermostat allow for burn times of up to 18 hours at up to 50,000 BTU/hour output.
The durable cast-iron construction that Vermont Castings uses for all of their stoves is included with your Vigilant coal stove. The cast iron itself is 100% recycled to reduce environmental impact caused by the manufacturing process.
Your Vigilant coal stove also features a special "shaker" grate system that will shake ashes down into the swing-out ash pan for easier maintenance.
Due to dealer territorial restrictions and/or varying international safety standards, the Vigilant can only be delivered to the Greater Toronto Area at this time. No shipping is available to the rest of Canada and the United States.
