The Heat-N-Glo Escape 30" (I30FB) and 35" (I35FB) gas inserts feature Heat-N-Glo's Firebrick technology. Firebrick is constructed from a ceramic fibre material to prevent rust and corrosion that traditionally occurs over time with a metal firebox. Firebrick also contains multiple layers designed to trap and retain heat that would normally radiate out of the firebox, ensuring greater heat efficiency and saving you on fuel costs.
